830 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Hārūn b. Maʿrūf told me; Muḥammad b. al-Qāsim reported to us; Thawr transmitted, from Khālid b. Maʿdān, from Abū Umāmah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Allah has vessels on the earth, and the dearest of those vessels to Him are the ones that are the most delicate and pure. These vessels of Allah on the earth are the hearts of His righteous servants.”
