821 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Yahya ibn Saʿid narrated to us, from al-Taymi, from Abu ʿUthman, from Salman, who said:
“If people only knew how fully Allah helps the weak, they would never over-price a riding-animal.

If one man were to spend the whole night thrusting at the enemy lines while another spent the night in the remembrance of Allah, I would still judge the one who remembers Allah and recites the Quran to be superior.
Whoever performs wudu, perfecting his ablution, and then comes to the mosque for no purpose other than worship, comes as a visitor to Allah—and it is Allah’s prerogative to honor His visitor.”
