779 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Ibn Abī Khālid narrated to us, from al-Bahī, from ʿUrwa, from ʿĀʾisha—may Allah have mercy on her—who said: “Your father was indeed among those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after they had been wounded; for those of them who excel and remain mindful of Allah, there is a mighty reward.”
