ʿAbd Allah related to us, saying: my father related to me; Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Zubayr related to us; Sufyān related to us; he said: Abu al-Dardāʾ said, “Indeed, whoever keeps death frequently in mind will find that his envy and his aggression grow small.”
