ʿAbd Allah related to us, saying: my father related to me; Wakiʿ related to us, from Jaʿfar, from Maymun, who said: Abu al-Dardaʾ declared, “Woe to the one who is ignorant—once; and woe, sevenfold, to the one who knows yet does not act upon his knowledge.”
