ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father related to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us; Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿImran al-Qasir, who said: I heard Abu Rajaʾ say that Abu al-Dardaʾ declared, “For me to utter the takbīr—saying ‘Allahu akbar’—one hundred times is dearer than giving one hundred dinars in charity.”
