- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Zakariyya ibn Yahya al-Kisaʾi related to us; Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Mujammaʿ al-Taymi, from Yazid ibn Mihjan, who said:
We were with ʿAli—may Allah be pleased with him—at al-Rahbah when he called for a sword, drew it from its sheath, and announced, “Who will buy this sword? By Allah, had I possessed even the price of a single izar (waist-wrap), I would never have put it up for sale.”
