8 – Abdah ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; Hishām ibn ʿUrwah narrated to us, from a man who said: ʿĀʾishah—may Allah be pleased with her—was asked, “What would the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do when he was at home?” She replied, “He would mend his clothes and patch his sandals,” and similar household tasks.
