ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Samad narrated to us; Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: ʿUmar would often pray, “O Allah, make my deeds righteous, make them purely for Your sake, and let no one else have any share in them.”
