- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Rawḥ and Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar both related, saying: ʿAwf transmitted to us, from al-Ḥasan, who said: “It has reached me that among the supplications of Abu Bakr were the words: ‘O Allah, I ask You for whatever is best for me, whose ultimate outcome is goodness. O Allah, let the last of the blessings You grant me be Your good pleasure and the highest ranks in the Gardens of Bliss.’”
٥٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي رَوْحٌ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنْ دُعَاءِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي عَاقِبِهِ الْخَيْرُ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ آخِرَ مَا تُعْطِينِي مِنَ الْخَيْرِ رِضْوَانَكَ، وَالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى مِنْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ»
