562. ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān informed us, from Sufyān, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from his father, who said:

“I saw Abu Bakr—may Allah be pleased with him—grasping his tongue and saying, ‘It is this that has plunged me into peril.’”
