’Abd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Harun ibn Ma‘ruf informed us; Damrah related to us, on the authority of al-Suddi ibn Yahya, who said:

Luqman said to his son, “My dear child, it is wisdom that raises the poor to sit in the gatherings of kings.”
