480 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Sufyan narrated to us:

Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him, said to the reciters: “O salt of the earth, do not become corrupt. When anything turns bad, it is salt that restores it; but if the salt itself goes bad, nothing can restore it.”
