- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father related it to me; Hajjaj narrated to us; Shurayk from Abu Rawaq, from al-Dahhak, who said: “The sayyid (truly noble person) is the one endowed with excellent character, and the hasur is he who is kept away from—and therefore abstains from—women.”
٤٦٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي رَوْقٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَ: " السَّيِّدُ: الْحَسَنُ الْخُلُقِ وَالْحَصُورُ: الَّذِي حُصِرَ عَنِ النِّسَاءِ "
