457 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father related to me; ʿAffān informed us; al-Mubarak ibn Fadalah reported, saying: I heard al-Hasan say:
"Whenever the Prophet Job was struck by a calamity, he would say, ‘O Allah, You are the One who takes and You are the One who gives. For as long as You keep my soul alive, I will praise You for the goodness of Your trial.’"
