Report 46: ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying, “My father narrated to me; Wakīʿ narrated to us; Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Masrūq, who said:

The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said, ‘Spend, Bilāl, and do not fear poverty from the Lord of the Throne.’

Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related it on another occasion with the wording: ‘and do not be afraid of the Lord of the Throne.’
