Hadith 433: ʿAbd Allah narrated to us and said, “I recited it before my father.” ʿAli ibn Thabit al-Jazari related—Abu al-Hasan informed me—on the authority of al-Walid ibn ʿAmr, who said:

“It has reached me that the following is written in the Torah:

‘O son of Adam, so much as move your hands and I will open for you a gate of provision. Obey Me in what I have commanded you, for I am indeed most knowing of what will set you aright.’”
