Report 44: ʿAbd Allāh related to us, saying: Abu Maʿmar al-Qaṭīʿī informed me, and Jarīr ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd together with Wakīʿ ibn al-Jarrāḥ narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyān, from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir, who said:

It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will the people of Paradise sleep?” He replied, “Sleep is the sibling of death, and the people of Paradise do not die.”
