Abd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Ismaʿil informed us; Yunus informed us, from al-Hasan, who said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, “May Allah have mercy on Joseph. Had an emissary come to me after such a prolonged imprisonment, I would have hastened to comply.”
