405 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Musa al-Ansari narrated to us; al-Walid related to us, from Shuʿbah ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz—or someone else—who said:

“One of the supplications of David, peace be upon him, was: ‘Glory be to the One who elicits gratitude through His generosity and summons supplication through affliction.’”
