391. ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Sayyār narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us, from ʿImrān al-Qaṣīr, who said:

“Moses son of ʿImrān said, ‘My Lord, where shall I seek You?’ He replied, ‘Seek Me among those whose hearts are broken; I draw near to them each day by a fathom, and were it not for that, they would collapse.’”
