- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Qurra ibn Tammām informed us, from ʿUthmān ibn al-Aswad, from ʿAtāʾ, who said: “Moses circumambulated the House and went back and forth between al-Safā and al-Marwah while saying, ‘Allāhumma labbayka (O Allah, here I am at Your service).’ His Lord—majestic and exalted—answered him: ‘Labbayka, O Moses; I am right here with you.’ He was wearing a jubbah qatwāniyyah (a cloak from Qatwān).” Qurra in another version said: “while he was wrapped in an ʿabāʾah qatwāniyyah (a Qatwān mantle).”}
