- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Jaʿfar narrated to us; Thābit informed us, saying: “When Moses son of ʿImrān, peace be upon him, passed away, the angels roamed through the heavens, declaring: ‘Moses has died—what soul is there that will not die?’”
٣٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ قَالَ: " لَمَّا مَاتَ مُوسَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ (عليه السلام) جَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ يَقُولُونَ: مَاتَ مُوسَى فَأَيُّ نَفْسٍ لَا تَمُوتُ "
