- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Ibrāhīm ibn Khālid narrated to us; ʿAbdullāh ibn Baḥīr told me, saying: I heard Wahb ibn Munabbih relate:
“Moses, peace be upon him, said: ‘O Lord, which of Your servants is dearest to You?’ He answered, ‘The one whose very presence reminds others of Me.’ Moses asked again, ‘My Lord, which of Your servants is dearest to You?’ He replied, ‘Those who visit the sick, comfort the bereaved, and accompany the dead to their burial.’”
