38 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah al-Fazārī narrated to us; Hilāl ibn Suwayd, Abū al-Muʿallā, informed us. He said: I heard Anas ibn Mālik say:
“Three birds were presented to the Prophet ﷺ. He gave one of them to his maidservant. The next day she brought it back to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘Did I not forbid you to save anything for the morrow? For Allah Himself brings the provision of every tomorrow.’”
