(No. 351) ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us—my father related to me; ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us; al-Mundhir informed us that he heard Wahb say:
“The Lord—glorified is He—said to Moses, peace be upon him: ‘Command your people to turn back to Me in repentance and to call upon Me during the Ten’—meaning the first ten days of Dhu’l-Ḥijjah. ‘Then, when the tenth day arrives, let them come out to Me so that I may forgive them.’”
Wahb added, “This is the very day the Jews sought but missed, and no reckoning is more accurate than that of the Arabs.”
