330. ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Bishr ibn Manṣūr, from Thawr ibn Yazīd—and others than ʿAbd al-Raḥmān reported it from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Ẓabyān—who said:

The Messiah—peace be upon him—said: “Whoever acquires knowledge, acts upon it, and then teaches it to others will be called ‘great’ in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
