- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: my father informed us; Siyyar informed us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; Ḥabīb Abū Muḥammad—from a man—on the authority of Wahb ibn Munabbih, who said:
Allah, Exalted is He, revealed to Jesus—peace be upon him: “O Jesus, I have granted you love for the poor and compassion toward them: you love them and they love you; they are pleased to have you as imam and leader, and you are pleased to have them as companions and followers. These are two virtues. Know that whoever meets Me possessing them will meet Me with the purest and most beloved of deeds.”
٣٢٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أبِي، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ: " أَوْحَى اللَّهُ – Exalté soit-Il – إِلَى عِيسَى (عليه السلام): يَا عِيسَى، إِنِّي قَدْ وَهَبْتُ لَكَ حُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَرَحْمَتَهُمْ؛ تُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكَ، وَيَرْضَوْنَ بِكَ إِمَامًا وَقَائِدًا، وَتَرْضَى بِهِمْ صَحَابَةً وَتَبَعًا، وَهُمَا خُلُقَانِ، اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ مَنْ لَقِيَنِي بِهِمَا، لَقِيَنِي بِأَزْكَى الْأَعْمَالِ، وَأَحَبِّهَا إِلَيَّ "
