319. ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: my father narrated to us; Muʿāwiyah ibn ʿAmr informed us; Zāʾidah informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Khaythamah, who said:

A woman once passed by Jesus—peace be upon him—and exclaimed, “Blessed are the breasts that nursed you and the lap that held you!” Jesus replied, “Blessed is the one who recites the Qur’an and then acts upon what it contains.”
