’Abd Allāh told us, saying: “My father told us; Isḥāq ibn Yūsuf told us, from Sufyān, from Manṣūr, from Hilāl ibn Yasār, who said:

Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him, used to say: ‘When any one of you gives charity with his right hand, let him conceal it from his left; and when he performs the prayer, let him draw the curtain of his door closed around himself. For indeed, Allah apportions praise just as He apportions provision.’”
