- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us—my father informed us—ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us—from Sufyān—from al-Aʿmash—from Khaythamah, who said:
Jesus, the son of Mary, peace be upon him, said: “Blessed is the believer—blessed indeed! See how Allah, Exalted is He, safeguards his offspring after him.”
٣٠٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ: " قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ (عليه السلام): طُوبَى لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، ثُمَّ طُوبَى لَهُ، كَيْفَ يَحْفَظُ اللَّهُ – Exalté soit-Il – وَلَدَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ "
