Al-ZuhdAhmad Ibn Hanbal
  1. ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us—my father narrated to me—ʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us—Bakkār related: I heard Wahb say:

“The Lord—glorified and exalted is He—said in one of His addresses to the Children of Israel: ‘When I am obeyed, I am pleased; and when I am pleased, I grant blessing, and My blessing has no end. But when I am disobeyed, I become angry; and when I become angry, I curse, and My curse reaches the seventh generation.’”
