- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Rūḥ narrated to us; Hishām informed us, on the authority of al-Ḥasan, who said: “Adam—peace be upon him—remained in Paradise for but one daylight hour; that single hour equals one hundred and thirty years of earthly time.”
٢٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: «لَبِثَ آدَمُ (عليه السلام) فِي الْجَنَّةِ سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ؛ تِلْكَ السَّاعَةُ ثَلَاثُونَ وَمِائَةُ سَنَةٍ مِنْ أَيَّامِ الدُّنْيَا»
