Abu Hurayrah reported from the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—who conveys it from his Lord, Glorified and Exalted be He: “I am the most self-sufficient of partners. Whoever performs a deed and in it associates someone other than Me, I disown him, and the deed is left to the one he associated.”
٢٤٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْعَلَاءَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ، " يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ – Exalté soit-Il – قَالَ: أَنَا خَيْرُ الشُّرَكَاءِ، فَمَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا فَأَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي، فَإِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنْهُ، وَهُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ "
