- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ismaʿil ibn Ibrahim narrated to us; ʿAsim al-Ahwal narrated to us; from Abu ʿUthman al-Nahdi, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Those who devote themselves to goodness in this world will be the people of goodness in the Hereafter, and those who devote themselves to evil in this world will be the people of evil in the Hereafter.”
٢٣٦٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلِ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»
