- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to me; Abū Usāmah narrated to us; from al-Aʿmash; from Abū Isḥāq; from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The person who will suffer the lightest punishment among the inhabitants of Hell is the one who is given two sandals with their straps made of fire; from them his brain will boil just as a cauldron boils. He will imagine that no one is enduring a punishment harsher than his, while in fact he is the one with the lightest torment.”
