He also reported to us, through Damrah ibn Ḥabīb, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The very first qualities to be withdrawn from this ummah (community) will be amānah (trustworthiness) and khushūʿ (reverent humility), so much so that you will hardly see anyone who is truly humble.”
