2333 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Yaʿmur ibn Bishr narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubarak informed us; al-Hajjaj ibn Furafisah informed us, from ʿUqayl, from Ibn Shihab, that ʿAʾishah, may Allah have mercy on her, said:

“The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do the household work, and the task he carried out most often was sewing.”
