2328 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us; Sharik narrated to us, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn al-Walid, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUbayd ibn ʿUmayr, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You will find the believer exerting himself in what he is able to do, while longing for what is beyond his capacity.”
