2323 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Wahb ibn Baqiyyah narrated to us; Khalid informed us, from Abu Sinan, from Abu ʿUbaydah ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said: “If a man were to sit by the roadside with a cloth full of dinars, and he gave dinars to every passer-by, while another man sat next to him proclaiming the takbīr (saying, ‘Allāhu akbar’), the one engaged in takbīr would receive the greater reward.”
