2321 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman al-Samarqandi narrated to us; Marwan ibn Muhammad al-Tahiri narrated to us; Saʿid ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz narrated to me, who said: Abu Muslim al-Khawlani remarked, “If it were announced that Hellfire itself is being stoked, I could not find any way to add to the deeds I already perform.”
