2291 – ʿAbd Allah related to us; Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Kufi related to me; Yahya ibn Yaman related to us, from Ashʿath, from Jaʿfar, who said:

Someone asked Saʿid, “Who is the most devout of people?” He replied, “A man who has committed sins; whenever he remembers his sin, he belittles his own deeds.”
