2273 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; al-Walid narrated to me. He said: I heard al-Awzaʿi say: I heard Bilal ibn Saʿd say:

“A brother who meets you and reminds you of the portion that is yours with Allah is better for you than a brother who, whenever he meets you, slips a dinar into your mouth.”
