Al-ZuhdAhmad Ibn Hanbal

2266 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Miskin ibn Bakr narrated to us; al-Awzaʿi narrated to us, from Bilal ibn Saʿd, who said: “I found people urging one another toward righteous deeds—prayer, zakah, doing good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong—whereas today you urge one another toward mere opinion.”
