2264 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Harith narrated to me; Thawr ibn Yazid narrated to me; from Khalid ibn Maʿdan, who said: “Allah, Exalted is He, has vessels on earth, and the dearest of Allah’s vessels to Him are those that are the most tender and pure. The vessels of Allah on earth are the hearts of His righteous servants.”
