2255 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; Sallām narrated to us; ʿImrān narrated that for forty years Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib did not miss a single congregational prayer, never had to look at the backs of the worshippers (being in the front row), and was never encountered outside the mosque.
