2248 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Shujaʿ ibn al-Walid ibn ʿAmr ibn Qays narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Qays, who said: “Whoever’s wealth abounds, his exertion abounds; and whoever’s exertion abounds, his devils abound; and whoever’s devils abound, his reckoning will be all the more severe.”
