2243 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Muslim narrated to me, from ʿUthman ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Aws, from ʿAmr ibn Aws, who said: “The truly humble (al-mukhbitun) are those who never wrong others, and when they themselves are wronged, they do not seek revenge.”
