2239 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said, “My father narrated to me; Abū Muʿāwiya al-Ghalābī narrated to us; he said: Ibrāhīm ibn Adham said:

‘Do not set up anyone as a benefactor between yourself and Allah, and regard whatever favors they grant you as a debt you must repay.’
