2216 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Rawḥ narrated to us; Shibl, from Ibn Abī Najīḥ, from Mujāhid—regarding the divine words, “And do not forget your share of this world” (al-Qasas 28:77). He said: “Take from your worldly life for your Hereafter, that is, make use of it in acts of obedience to Him.”
